Our Team

Aerial Rigging is owned by Michael Wiener. Michael has led Aerial through the good and the tough times of the industry over the last decade plus. Always one to try new things, Michael has introduced many new services and products to our industry. Michael is incredibly devoted to the safety of our customers and team. He has been a voting member of PLASA, promoted the ETCP program, and been a huge advocate for professional rigging service providers to be used in all events and situations where something is "flown" overhead since day one. Michael has been a self made success from his days in Canada, and when not working with his beloved Aerial or Aeson Technology, Aerial's sister company featuring LED lighting products LED Displays and truss, he treasures his family time, the company of friends, and waterskiing.

Vice President of Hotel Operations, Omar J. Sharrieff, is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and has been in the rigging business for 17 years. He started his career at the massive Orange County Convention Center. There, Omar gained a vast amount of rigging experience and the respect of his peers. His exeriences at OCC equipped him with the expert knowledge to be an outstanding lead for Aerial's in house relationships throughout Florida.  After joining Aerial in early 2012, he set the bar even higher in regard to safety and customer service. Omar’s mantra is “The Safety of Our Guest Is Paramount”. Omar chose the rigging field, because Riggers set the tone for the production by being the first ones in the room. Omar draws from his military experience often when faced with challenges. He believes preparation minimizes challenges, and teamwork is the key to overcoming them. Omar can be seen visiting the different venues; talking to the CSM’s, clients and riggers making sure that the lines of communication remain open, and the client’s needs are exceeded. During his free time, Omar enjoys spending time at parks and beaches with his family.

Brian Alley, a veteran of over 20 years with Aerial, leads the inspection, certification, and repair efforts. Brian's expertise goes beyond description, and he continues to advance his education and knowledge of his craft. He's been the lead on every stadium install Aerial has done, and is constantly requested by name to be the lead for most of the most complex projects we are hired for. Anyone who knows Brian will often be heard saying "if Brian can't fix it or doesn't know the answer, no one does..." Brian has held just about any role there is in the hotel, convention, and arena rigging business. Brian is a great planner, always drawing on past knowledge and experience to insure the best results possible for his customer. When not at Aerial working, Brian enjoys relaxing and enjoying time spent with friends and family.

Kelly Albano our Production/Scheduling Coordinator came to Aerial with a passion for industry excellence in regards to service.  Kelly works directly with both Production Companies and Hoteliers to ensure every event is done safely, correctly and is pleasing to the clients.  With every email and phone call her clients are given the customer service, knowledge and attention that is necessary to produce a successful event.  Kelly also works directly with the Aerial team to insure the safety, accuracy, quality and timeliness of every request, order and event. When not serving Aerial's customers and partners, Kelly enjoys doing projects on her house, the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
